Fergana hosted the solemn opening ceremony of International University of Korea branch.

It was noted that the establishment of this university became another important step towards training highly qualified personnel at the level of international educational standards for the economy.

Uzbekistan is implementing large-scale activities on bringing all spheres, including, higher education system, to the level of international standards. Priority attention is paid to organization of training competitive personnel, further expansion of international cooperation in higher education, strong ties with leading universities, foreign countries’ research centers are being established. The establishment of International University of Korea branch in Fergana region is also a practical reflection of these good aspirations.

Currently, the university has opened such areas as preschool education, tourism management, computer programming, information-communication technologies, architectural design, electricity, automotive industry, Korean language, management in beauty industry.

Guests became familiar with creative activities and conditions created at the university.
