Uzbekistan State University of World Languages celebrates the 20th Anniversary of International Journalism Faculty. 

The faculty was established in 1999. Since its establishment, numerous professionals such as N. Jurayev, F. Muminov, Kh. Dustmuhamedov, F. Muminova, D. Teshaboyeva, and docents as S. Umirov, N. Kosimova, B. Alimov and others have become known. Thus, the precise scientific school based on journalism field had been formed.

Rakhimov Ganisher, Rector of the University, congratulated all the members of the faculty including docents, professional teachers and students.

The University hosted Etirof 2019 awarding ceremony. Teachers and students were awarded with diplomas in such nominations as “The best teacher of the year”, “The best article of the year”, “The best media design of the year”, “The best radio program of the year”. Post graduates of the faculty were also invited and shared their memories.

The event has brought together all the journalists of this faculty studying and working all over the country.
