Indonesian students to study Uzbekistan’s architecture
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Jakarta has organized a trip for 200 students of Indonesia’s Gunadarma University to Uzbekistan on March 4-18.
The project has been implemented jointly with Tashkent State University of Economics, Bukhara State University, Silk Road International Tourism University, International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and Samarkand State Architectural and Civil Engineering Institute, as well as other ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan.
Indonesian students will study the historical architecture of Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara. Based on the results of the trip, a recommendation report will be drawn up on implementation of construction methods for historical buildings of Uzbekistan in Indonesia.
Recently, tourist attractions of Uzbekistan are becoming more and more popular abroad, in particular in Indonesia. 620 Indonesian tourists have already visited Uzbekistan from the beginning of this year until March 5.
