Huawei and the University of Journalism agreed to cooperate in IT Journalism Development
Huawei has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Journalism and Mass Communications University of Uzbekistan, aimed at cooperation in IT journalism development and improving the professional level of knowledge of future specialists in media space.
Huawei has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Journalism and Mass Communications University of Uzbekistan, aimed at cooperation in IT journalism development and improving the professional level of knowledge of future specialists in media space. The signing of the Memorandum took place at the Huawei Innovation Center within the framework of a visit of the leadership, faculty and students of the university.
Within the framework of the signing, the flagship smartphone models were demonstrated, participants became familiar with the functions useful for the journalist’s daily work and able to replace professional video and camera devices. Experts in 5G technologies, cloud computing and solutions for providing communications in remote and inaccessible places informed about the working principles and advantages of using Huawei technologies. Students also got acquainted with the global project “Seeds for the Future”, within the framework of which Huawei annually sends students of Uzbekistan to China for internships.
Huawei has signed agreements and fruitfully collaborates with education institutions such as Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Inha University in Tashkent, China Campus Network, as well as implements a number of educational projects aimed at supporting talents in Uzbekistan.
