Improving the quality of education is one of the areas in reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan. Great opportunities are created in this area by the resolution of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev “On additional measures for improving the system of monitoring the quality of education” of January 16, 2019.

Now, consultants will attract qualified specialists from state bodies and organizations, scientific and higher education institutions, leading international and foreign organizations, including foreign experts in education and compatriots living abroad.

Much attention is paid to the study of foreign languages. The London College of English Center, led by Guli Sheikh, contributes in this area. For the past three months, everyone has been trained at London College of English.

“The whole world is monitoring the ongoing changes in Uzbekistan. Prestigious international organizations praised the rational policies of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The opportunities created in the country are of great interest abroad. Openness, transparency in political life, the conversion of the national currency, the creation of a favorable investment environment increases the desire of investors to start their own business in Uzbekistan”, says Guli Sheikh.

– We studied the activities of many training centers. Most of the lessons use dialogues in Russian and Uzbek. Our method is similar to teaching in prestigious universities of England, such as Oxford and Cambridge. An English education environment has been created. Another feature is that English teachers came from England on a contract basis. They do not know Russian and Uzbek, communicate only in English.

We are planning to cooperate with schools and higher education institutions, organize lectures on career guidance for youth. Our task is not to establish a business, we want more people to know English. Cooperation has already begun with the 52nd specialized boarding school of Yashnabad district, where we are planning to teach capable students English for free. The plans include cooperation with a specialized boarding school in Samarkand”.
