Cooperation between universities of Uzbekistan and Malaysia expands
Putrajaya city in Malaysia hosted a reception in honor of the 35th anniversary of Binary University of Management and Entrepreneurship with participation of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad, with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur.
Putrajaya city in Malaysia hosted a reception in honor of the 35th anniversary of Binary University of Management and Entrepreneurship with participation of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad, with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur.
Rector of Binary University Joseph Adaikalam acquainted Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and guests with the opening of a joint Uzbekistan – Malaysia faculty at Tashkent Financial Institute. He emphasized that upon completion of training, graduates will be issued relevant diplomas of the two higher education institutions.
Rector also informed about promising areas of cooperation between Binary and Uzbekistan partners in the field of education. In particular, he noted that a delegation of the university is planning to visit the country from September 27 to October 4 in order to further discuss the mechanisms for implementing the educational project on establishing a university branch in Khorezm region.
In addition, the Malaysian side announced the allocation of 10 educational grants for citizens of Uzbekistan to study for a master’s degree at Binary University for a total amount of 100 thousand USD.
