A teacher from Uzbekistan is awarded a diploma of the government of Japan
Abdurakhim Mannonov, who has worked as Rector of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, honored mentor of Uzbekistan youth, holder of Mehnat Shukhrati Order, was awarded the diploma of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

The event, held on this occasion, was attended by the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Inom Majidov, Rector of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies Gulchekhra Rikhsiyeva, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan Yoshinori Fujiyama, Chief Representative of JICA in Uzbekistan Muneo Takasaka, as well as Embassy staff, professors and teachers of the Department of Japanese Language of the Institute and students.
Honorary diploma of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan is awarded to individuals or organizations as recognition of merits in strengthening friendly relations between Japan and other countries.
Abdurakhim Mannonov, who worked for many years at Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, made an incomparable contribution to strengthening bilateral relations with Japan and studying Japanese language in Uzbekistan. The scientist took initiatives to organize conferences with participation of rectors of universities of Uzbekistan and Japan, contributed to development of exchange of information, knowledge and experience between students and teachers of the two countries. As a result of his efforts, the Institute established cooperation with the Universities of Tsukuba, Waseda, Hosei, Gaidai, Sophia, Aichi and Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
