“Uzbekistan – destination on the Great Silk Road”

Photo exhibition of Uzbek photographer, member of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, Husniddin Ato, has kicked off in Riga.
The organizer is the Embassy of Uzbekistan and Duma of Riga.
Representatives of socio-political, business, cultural-humanitarian circles and the media of Latvia, as well as Uzbekistan students studying in this country, gathered at Riga Congress House for the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
“In my works, I try to show the ancient history, rich culture, people and life of hospitable Uzbekistan. I hope that the photo illustrations presented at the exhibition will inspire a visit to Uzbekistan, and those who have been in our country, besides the desire to visit, will once again evoke good memories”, says Husniddin Ato.
The expositions of more than 60 photo illustrations presented at the exhibition aroused great interest among visitors. They got acquainted with culture and traditions of Uzbek people, tourism potential, world-famous historical and cultural attractions and the rich heritage of the country.
The photo exhibition will continue until November 15.
