Uzbekistan delegation attends Cultural Heritage Festival in the UAE
The annual Sheikh Zayed Festival, which will last until February 2, 2020, has kicked off in Al Wasl region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The exposition of the festival includes models of historical monuments and buildings from each emirate, telling about how the state developed from ancient times to the present day. In 2018, the festival expanded its format, opening up the opportunity for countries of the world to show their history and culture.
This year, Uzbekistan takes part in the event along with 26 countries of the world.
Uzbek exposition is organized by the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Committee for Tourism Development and Hunarmand Association.
The authors of the colorful design of the pavilion managed to convey the originality of Uzbek architectural style.
Artisans offer visitors to become acquainted with the national applied art of Uzbekistan and become the owner of its various designs, gifts of nature of the country’s generous land.
Ceramics, fabrics, carved wood products, dried fruits – all this attracted great attention of visitors on the first day of the festival.
