Uzbek Culture Days in Vienna
On March 12, 2019, Uzbek Culture Days kick off in Vienna, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reports.
The events included in the program of Culture Days are organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Austria together with KultEurasia – Association for Cultural Dialogue in Eurasia under the leadership of Austrian public figures Daniela Lieberwirth and Dr. Peter Felch, State Philharmonic Society of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State Higher School of National Dance and Choreography and with participation of artisans and masters of art of Samarkand and Bukhara.
During Culture Days, participation of creative teams in the celebration of Navruz in the United Nations Office at Vienna is planned. It is envisaged to organize media presentations on Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage and its global significance, four concerts with participation of the national-instrumental creative group Shodlik from Tashkent, led by Dilmurod Mirzayev, a workshop and master classes in miniature painting of artistic embossing from Bukhara masters Feruza Temirova and Anvar Kurbanov. Two exhibitions of applied art and traditional crafts of Uzbekistan and other cultural events will be also held.
