On November 11-15, Tashkent will host International Biennale of Applied Arts.

The event aims at preservation of national traditions, presentation of works of contemporary applied art, as well as revival of forgotten folk traditions and practical demonstration of the process that is taking place in contemporary art, further strengthening friendship and cooperation between different people, strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties at the international level.

Within the framework of Tashkent International Biennale of Applied Arts, Silk Carpets Fair, National Ceramics Exhibition, National Costumes Show, Design Projects Exhibition, exhibition of Japanese Applied Arts, trade fair “Masters of Jewelry Arts”, roundtable discussion on “Art in an Urban Environment”, scientific-practical conference “Globalism and National Similarities in Art”, exhibition “Ancient types of paper, calligraphy samples and miniature works” will be held. The event will also include master classes and scientific-practical conferences.
