Louvre to host an exhibition dedicated to Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage
A major project is being implemented in cooperation with the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan to improve Uzbekistan’s international image and art on a global scale.
This was reported by Deputy Director of Information and Mass Communications Agency under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Saida Miziyoyeva.
“Next year, for the first time in history, Louvre will host an exhibition of Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage, which will bring together the unique works”, says Saida Mirziyoyeva. “During the visit to Louvre, we met with President of the Museum Jean-Luc Martinez and discussed organizational issues”.
The museum will provide area for 310 exhibits in temporary exhibition halls.
The exhibition will be held from October 2021 to February 2022.
