The fourth International Shashmaqom festival was held in the Palace of Culture, in Ramla city, Israel.

On September 14, 2019, within the framework of celebration of the 28th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the fourth International Shashmaqom festival was held in the Palace of Culture, in Ramla city, Israel.

At the festival, a creative team from Uzbekistan led by Asliddin Dustov, as well as famous shashmaqom performers, performed.

Uzbek dances were performed by Israeli dancers in national Uzbek costumes, as well as traditional melodies on doira were demonstrated.

The Embassy also organized negotiations with the Mayor of Ramla Michael Vidal, during which issues of establishing twin-city relations between the Israeli city and Zarafshan were discussed. Meetings were also held with a group of Uzbekistan citizens working in Israel.
