President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has signed a Resolution on measures to establish the Imam Maturidi International Research Center at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.
The main tasks of the Center are a deep study of the vast scientific, religious and spiritual heritage of Imam Maturidi, as well as his followers, who have made an invaluable contribution to the development of faith and the science of Kalam, the publication of scientifically commented translations and comparative texts of works created by them, as well as their widespread promotion among people and the international community with the organization of systemic scientific research on these themes; informing the scientific community about the results of new research in the direction of the history of Islam and the science of Kalam, and others.
Foreign qualified specialists will be involved in the activities of the center as scientific researchers.
