Filmmakers are shooting a documentary “Gilamlar – tarikh poyondozi” (Carpets are reflection of history), dedicated to Uzbek national carpets’ history.

Filmmakers are shooting a documentary “Gilamlar – tarikh poyondozi” (Carpets are reflection of history), dedicated to Uzbek national carpets’ history. 

According to Uzbekkino National Agency, the film will be shot in those regions of the country where carpet weaving is developed. Carpets stored in the funds of Uzbekistan museums will be shot, photo and video archive materials will be used, showing the process of carpet weaving, dyeing of wool and silk threads, production of natural paints.
