European Film Festival: meeting with cinematographer Dainis Kļava
Uzbekistan hosts the 7th European Film Festival. Films by famous filmmakers from Austria, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Finland, France and Sweden are shown in the cinemas of Tashkent, Nukus, Urgench and Jizzakh.

Within the framework of the festival, creative meetings and master classes are being held with participation of famous European cinematographers. One of these meetings took place on October 22 at Uzbekkino National Agency.
Famous Latvian director, editor and cinematographer Dainis Kļava met with the creative team of the Documentary and Chronicle Films Studio.
Dainis Kļava is known as the director of the documentaries “Sea of Attractions”, “Lake Lubans: Squaring the Circle”, “European Union”. A number of films by this director were awarded at prestigious international film festivals. Among them is “The Naivists” – a film about people who love and engage in visual arts.
At the meeting, the director of the Documentary and Chronicle Films Studio State Unitary Enterprise Bakhodir Odilov introduced the guests to the reforms and innovations in the cinema industry of Uzbekistan.
