Canvases reflecting friendshipExhibition of works of Uzbekistan and South Korea artists dedicated to the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea and the 80th anniversary of the ethnic Koreans living in Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent House of Photography of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
The exhibition organized by Tashkent House of Photography of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and the Korean Fine Arts Association was attended by art historians, artists of Uzbekistan and South Korea, students and journalists.
It was noted that diplomatic relations between the two states play an important role in strengthening friendship between people of Uzbekistan and South Korea and cooperation in the spheres of economy, culture and art.
Citizens of Korean nationality are living in peace and harmony with representatives of other nations in our country. After achieving independence, Uzbekistan along with other countries established diplomatic relations with the Republic of Korea. Multifaceted cooperation between the two countries is being strengthened from year to year in various spheres, including in the field of fine arts.
Canvases of members of Korean Fine Arts Association such as “Flowering plum tree”, “Amazing woman”, “Flowers of love”, “Taste of grapes”, “Harmony of the world”, “Feelings of the red forest”, “Beauty of autumn” reflect the cultural identity of people of South Korea, its beautiful nature. Paintings of Uzbekistan artists such as “Heavenly horses”, “White morning”, “The land where the lotus blooms”, “Holy family”, “Good morning” are consonant with these works and reflect our homeland, its unique and rich nature, generous people, national traditions and customs.
