Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia jointly with Consumption Union held a business forum on the economic and investment potential of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by representatives of about 150 Malaysian companies, including the leadership of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia, the External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), the Department of Standards and representatives of the business community.

At the event, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of about 50 representatives of Malaysian business to Uzbekistan to attend the international investment forum in Tashkent scheduled for March 4-6, 2020 in order to establish partnership between businesspeople of the two countries and determine specific areas of cooperation.
