Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted Uzbekistan – Iran business forum and B2B negotiations.

On December 12, 2019, within the framework of the visit of the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran led by the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Reza Rahmani to Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted Uzbekistan – Iran business forum and B2B negotiations.

The main purpose of this event was to discuss prospects for development of trade, economic and investment projects between Iran and Uzbekistan.

A number of presentations from representatives of ministries and agencies, as well as representatives of Uzbekistan companies, such as Uzkimyosanoat JSC, Uzqurilishmateriallari JSC, and Uzbekoziqovqatholding Company, were presented at the forum.

At B2B meetings, prospects for further development of Uzbekistan – Iran trade and economic cooperation were discussed. Views were exchanged on enhancing partnership between enterprises of the two countries.

The delegation included representatives of more than 100 leading Iranian companies that are engaged in manufacturing concrete, tile, plastic and polymer products, detergents, metal products, heating and cooling systems, petrochemical products, carpet products, cosmetics, as well as companies working in the field of mechanical engineering, transport and logistics, tourism, information technology, construction, banking, agriculture, livestock, poultry.
