Russia’s business mission arrives in Uzbekistan
Tashkent hosted Uzbekistan – Russia business forum during the visit of the delegation led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of All-Russian Non-Governmental Organization of Small and Medium Business “Opora Russia” Sergey Borisov to Uzbekistan.
At the opening ceremony of the forum, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Islom Jasimov noted that Russia is a reliable partner of Uzbekistan in trade-economic and investment spheres, and thanks to regular dialogues of the heads of the two countries, strategic partnership has risen to a new level. It was emphasized that the agreements reached during the highest level visits create an opportunity for further development of bilateral cooperation in all directions.
At the event it was noted that Russian companies specializing in such areas as tourism and hotel industry, production of building materials, agriculture, are ready to organize and develop their activities in Uzbekistan.
Sergey Borisov highly appreciated the State program “Every family entrepreneur” implemented in Uzbekistan. He noted that he intends to become closely familiar with activity implemented on this program and the accumulated national experience.
At the event, presentations were made on the investment potential of Uzbekistan and activities of the All-Russian Non-Governmental Organization of Small and Medium Business “Opora Russia”.
Businesspeople of the two countries organized B2B meetings within the framework of the business forum.
