On November 1-2, Nukus will host international investment forum “Invest in Karakalpakstan”, organized by the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, Jokargy Kenes and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

On November 1-2, Nukus will host international investment forum “Invest in Karakalpakstan”, organized by the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, Jokargy Kenes and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

It is expected that the forum will be attended by more than 200 foreign guests from 40 countries, government delegations and businesspeople.

According to the Agency for Attracting Foreign Investments under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, issues of enhancing investment activities, forming an effective platform for business contacts and attracting investments in Karakalpakstan will be discussed at the event.

The main objectives of the forum are the formation of ideas about investment potential, consideration of real sources of financing for new projects, the study of mechanisms for implementation of investment projects, involvement of stakeholders to establish business contacts.

Economic and tourism potential, cultural programs, an exhibition of domestic manufacturers will be presented during the two-day forum, as well as tours to historical and cultural monuments of Karakalpakstan will be organized.

Following the event, it is planned to sign agreements with foreign investors.
