International Monetary Fund presents economic analysis
On November 9, Tashkent hosted presentation of the International Monetary Fund, devoted to the economic analysis of Central Asian countries and the Caucasus.
The event, organized by the International Monetary Fund and the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the assistance of Orient Finans Bank, was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, banking and financial institutions, and the mass media.
In accordance with the conclusion of the International Monetary Fund, states of Central Asia and the Caucasus have achieved positive results in inclusive economic growth, but for raising the standard of living at the current projected growth rate, the region will need another 20 years.
At the event, it was noted that in comparison with other countries, Uzbekistan is actively reforming the economic sphere. Readiness was expressed to support this process by the International Monetary Fund.
The International Monetary Fund made recommendations on preventing inflation in the country.
