Influence of foreign investments on agriculture in Uzbekistan
BMB Trade Group Company has started its activity. The company includes a head office and three subsidiaries.
BMB Trade Group exported legumes to the Republic of Pakistan for $918,000.
Within the framework of attracted direct foreign investments to Uzbekistan, in July-August of this year, partners of the joint venture from the United States visited Mirzachul, Arnasay, Pakhtakor and Dustlik districts of Jizzakh region. BMB Trade Group and Silverleafe International are actively working on attracting foreign direct investment and implementing a modern agro-logistics cluster, as well as implementing projects on introducing modern technologies into the agro-industry of Jizzakh region.
The main tasks of the company are cultivation, deep processing and manufacturing of finished products from cotton with an emphasis on export to foreign countries within the framework of agro-industrial complex.
To date, the first batch of “John Deere” agricultural machinery has been purchased.
In order to establish production of import-substituting goods and providing the population with high-quality tea of domestic production, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of June 30, 2018 No.490 was adopted. It was decided to establish a specialized organization for production of tea and tea products in Zaamin district of Jizzakh region.
As a result of cooperation between the companies, an agricultural complex for production and processing of agricultural products, new jobs will be created, the export of agricultural products abroad will increase. All this will have a positive impact on development of Uzbekistan’s economy, namely, the Jizzakh region.
