In January-May 2018, the volume of exports of fruit and vegetable products in Uzbekistan amounted to 305.4 million US dollars, or increased, as compared to the same period last year, by 73.8%. From the total volume of fruits and vegetables, the share of fruits and berries amounted to 40.6% (increased by 2.2% compared to the same period last year), vegetables – 49.0% (58.9%), grapes – 7.5% (decreased by 0.4%).

As reported by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, in the export of fruit and vegetables, the main partners are Kazakhstan (out of 47.4%), Russia (13.4%), Afghanistan (7.7%), Kyrgyzstan (7.3%), China (4.7%), Vietnam (4.4%), Turkey (3.0%), Pakistan (2.0%) and Iran (1.3%).

The volume of fruit and vegetable exports amounted to 434.5 thousand tons, or increased, compared to the same period last year, by 88.7%.
