Export Promotion Fund opens a Representative Office in Latvia
In August of this year, the Small Businesses’ and Private Entrepreneurship’s Export Promotion Fund under the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan officially registered a Representative Office in the Republic of Latvia.
In August of this year, the Small Businesses’ and Private Entrepreneurship’s Export Promotion Fund under the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan officially registered a Representative Office in the Republic of Latvia.
The main objective of the Representative Office is to conduct marketing research, find foreign partners, ensure the advertising of the national brand, and organize participation of entrepreneurs in international exhibitions, fairs, tenders and other events.
The organization of the visit of foreign imports to Uzbekistan, assistance in obtaining international certificates, licenses and other permits, organization of foreign internships for specialists of domestic manufacturing enterprises are also the main task of the Representative Office.
In addition, it will actively participate in providing information to business circles of Latvia and EU countries on a wide range of business environment in the country and attracting foreign investment.
Moreover, the Representative Office will assist in opening trading houses of domestic companies in the Republic of Latvia, as well as in supply of manufactured products.
Along with this, the Fund is considering the issue of organizing a national pavilion of Uzbekistan for participation of business entities in the 23rd international food exhibition Riga Food 2018 on September 5-8 in Riga, Latvia, where the Fund’s Representative Office will render practical assistance in conducting negotiations and concluding export contracts for supply of food products to the market of Latvia and the EU countries.
