China hosts Eurasian Economic Forum

Administrative Center of Xi’an Province in China hosted the traditional Eurasian Economic Forum.
The event is aimed at strengthening national and international cooperation, uniting aspirations on creating single and common principles of development.
The seventh forum was attended by SCO members, representatives of countries with observer status and dialogue partners, as well as representatives of more than 50 countries, international organizations and financial institutions.
Vice-Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Hu Chunhua, SCO Secretary-General Vladimir Norov and others addressed the opening ceremony of the event.
Forum continued its work in two sessions. Cooperation issues in tourism, strengthening international economic and trade relations were discussed.
The forum was attended by representatives of the State Committee on Geology and Mineral Resources, as well as Bukhara, Samarkand regional and Khiva city khokimiyats, as well as Ashina Group Company. Dialogues on tourism were organized, issues on implementation of joint projects in mining industry were discussed at the session meetings of the forum.
